Systems Manager, Levett Career Center

Primary Function:
The Hanover College Levett Career Center Systems Manager will operate various processes within the HanoverConnect (12Twenty) system supporting the FutureFoundations program and serve as the liaison to the Office of Student Life to support Panther Pursuits (Suitable).  Responsibilities include job board management and promotion (approving employers, contacts, job/internship postings), on-campus employment, event management, senior placement, and clerical and administrative tasks for the Levett Career Center.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary operator of HanoverConnect (12Twenty)
  • Communicates with 12Twenty university partners to ensure the system meets the needs of and functions properly for the Levett Career Center
  • Work together with IT and other on-campus departments to integrate student records from Jenzabar and other systems to HanoverConnect; report, track, and evaluate data points to make and plan strategic initiatives
  • Communicate with internal and external populations regarding information in HanoverConnect (i.e., students and faculty about posted jobs, internships, and events)
  • Work with the Executive Director in setting up reporting requests for on-campus partners (i.e., faculty, Office of Student Success, Office of Admission)
  • Support on-campus supervisors in posting student employment positions to HanoverConnect
  • Serve as the liaison between the Office of Student Life to support Panther Pursuit (Suitable)
  • Implement and support workflow for Levett Career Center staff to maximize HanoverConnect and assist when requested (e.g., tracking/use of attributes, utilizing notes and appointment types, and updating notifications)
  • Analyze and present HanoverConnect reporting during Levett Career Center staff meetings, offering data-driven decision-making and conversation with the staff
  • Performs conversions for various metrics biannually and annually (e.g., intern conversion, FutureFoundation progression reports, Pathway Program student reports)
  • Own and manage two annual events (Graduate School Fair and Career Expo in fall term and Senior Day in winter term); work closely with Executive Director and Marketing and Communications Coordinator
  • Monitor and manage the department’s email account, directing communications to appropriate staff and faculty members on campus
  • Serve as receptionist to welcome guests and students to the Levett Career Center, directing visitors to appropriate staff and buildings (when necessary)
  • Work with the Executive Director to administer the annual First Destination Survey and handle on-campus outreach and data collection and management
  • Assist in clerical tasks such as filing, assembling materials, ordering supplies, and collecting invoices and documentation for budget management and track budgetary spending (when needed)
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Manage Data Analytics and Systems Student Worker (possible responsibilities include employer, contact, and job board approvals in HanoverConnect, monitor department’s email account); includes hiring, training, and supervising student worker
  • Monitor and approve timecards for student worker
Other Responsibilities: 
  • Assist students with completing the FutureFoundations program
  • Attend Levett Career Center programs and events, as needed
  • Promote a positive image of Hanover College and represent the College in accordance with the College’s mission, principles, and strategic plan
  • Support and is an advocate for the College’s diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, goals, and mission
  • Perform / complete other projects and tasks assigned by Executive Director
Qualifications:
Education, Certifications, Training, Experience
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Systems and data management experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suites
