Donor Relations Coordinator
                                                                       
Primary Function:
The Donor Relations Coordinator supports the College’s annual fundraising and stewardship programs.  

Administrative Responsibilities:
  • Participates in the planning and implementation of the annual fundraising and stewardship plan and provides direct support for elements of the plan.
  • Coordinates direct mail appeals and stewardship mailings.
  • Supports days of giving, including assistance with preparation and implementation.
  • Coordinates Panther Club membership renewal process.
  • Coordinates donor acknowledgement process and ensures accurate and timely acknowledgement of donors.
  • Maintains giving society coding.
  • Coordinates installation of memorial gifts, including trees, benches, and the Memorial Wall.
  • Provides support for the stewardship of endowed and expendable funds, including scholarship notifications and endowed fund activity reports.
  • Supports advancement events as needed, including occasional evening and weekend events.
  • Acts as backup support for gift entry.
Supervisory Responsibilities: 
  • Supervises student worker(s) for annual giving and stewardship.
Financial Responsibilities: 
  • Submits check requisitions on behalf of annual giving and stewardship.
Other Responsibilities: 
  • Promotes a positive image of Hanover College and represents the College in accordance with the College’s mission, principles, and strategic plan.
  • Supports the College’s welcoming college environment.
  • Performs/completes other projects and tasks assigned by the Vice President for Advancement.
Qualifications:

Education, Certifications, Training, Experience 
  • High school diploma required; some college preferred
  • Blackbaud certification required (within six months of start date)
  • Experience in an administrative support role required; experience in database management, fundraising, and/or higher education preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
