Primary Function:
The Donor Relations Coordinator supports the College’s annual fundraising and stewardship programs.

The Donor Relations Coordinator supports the College’s annual fundraising and stewardship programs.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Participates in the planning and implementation of the annual fundraising and stewardship plan and provides direct support for elements of the plan.
- Coordinates direct mail appeals and stewardship mailings.
- Supports days of giving, including assistance with preparation and implementation.
- Coordinates Panther Club membership renewal process.
- Coordinates donor acknowledgement process and ensures accurate and timely acknowledgement of donors.
- Maintains giving society coding.
- Coordinates installation of memorial gifts, including trees, benches, and the Memorial Wall.
- Provides support for the stewardship of endowed and expendable funds, including scholarship notifications and endowed fund activity reports.
- Supports advancement events as needed, including occasional evening and weekend events.
- Acts as backup support for gift entry.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervises student worker(s) for annual giving and stewardship.
Financial Responsibilities:
- Submits check requisitions on behalf of annual giving and stewardship.
Other Responsibilities:
- Promotes a positive image of Hanover College and represents the College in accordance with the College’s mission, principles, and strategic plan.
- Supports the College’s welcoming college environment.
- Performs/completes other projects and tasks assigned by the Vice President for Advancement.
Qualifications:

- High school diploma required; some college preferred
- Blackbaud certification required (within six months of start date)
- Experience in an administrative support role required; experience in database management, fundraising, and/or higher education preferred
- Valid driver’s license
