During his senior year at IU, Erik started working for the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce as an Executive Assistant for two prospering nonprofit organizations. He spends most of his time at work dealing with public relations, working on finances, member retention, and many other behind the scenes activities.

I have lived in Jefferson County for the past 10 years, prior Ripley County.  Friendship State Bank came to Madison in May of 2016, we are in between Morgan & Nay Funeral Home and the License Branch on Demaree Drive.  I have enjoyed meeting new people and working in Madison, everyone is so Welcoming and this truly is a great place to live and work.  I have been with The Friendship State Bank for 18 years, we are very committed to service excellance and supporting our communities.  We have a total 8 branches, Friendship, Versailles, Batesville, Vevay, Rising Sun, Dillsboro, Lawrenceburg and my favorite Madison!

Canaan Community Academy (CCA) is a FREE public school serving students in grades Kindergarten through Sixth Grade. CCA is a true community school, a school has operated on this site since 1892. CCA strives to provide opportunities for every child to explore, experience, and excel. All students participate in 60 minutes of Recess and 15 minutes of minds in motion daily. Plus students receive gardening, art, music, P.E., and Character Education every week. Canaan Community Academy focuses on the learning not test scores. Being a residence of Madison for 8 years now, I feel in love with the town from the very first day I visited. I moved from London, Ky on a Friday and started my new chapter of my life at River Valley Financial Bank, what is now German American Bank. Starting out as a teller, I growed quickly in the organization to my position where I am today, the Financial Center Manager and Loan officer at the Hanover location.

When I am not working, my husband and I travel across the country to different dirt racetracks. Here is where you will find me giving him signals to putting tires on his dirt late-model. When he is not racing, you will find us traveling to different off-road parks with our Polaris RZR 1000's.  

With a great company to work for, a wonderful town that I call home, I am excited to continue to grow in the community and watch it grow.
