When your Heart is Broken, Make Art with the Pieces Charity Auction for CASA of Jefferson County
CASA of Jefferson County is excited to announce their upcoming, When Your Heart is Broken, Make Art with the Pieces Charity Auction. This year’s event will return to the Hen & Ben Event Center on the evening of Thursday, April 25th, 2024. Doors open at 6pm for guests to arrive and enjoy live entertainment, a catered buffet of heavy appetizers by The Rolling Pin, and a cash bar while mingling and perusing our silent auction and raffle. The program will begin at 7pm and feature an address by our Circuit Court Judge, DJ Mote, a celebration of our Champion for Children Honorees, our live auction, and more music to finish the evening.
We are proud to once again partner with artist and teacher, Eric Phagan, and his Madison Junior High School students to bring one-of-a-kind artwork to the live auction. "I am very excited to have local artist, and local celebrity Jane Vonderheide working with students in my art classes at Madison Junior High to create several "Janie's Heart" original works that will be auctioned off at CASA’s event. Anytime that we can build relationships in our community through art, and student involvement, it is a win. Our partnership with CASA and organizations like it, are helping children in our community in need, whether they are a student of Madison Schools or not, and that is exactly why I do what I do."
Program Coordinator for CASA of Jefferson County, Brenda Holbrook, helped to define this exciting event for our community and reminds everyone that there are many creative ways to support the CASA mission. “This event is a showcase, not only of the creative talents and generosity of local artists, but also of the care and compassion our local businesses and individual citizens demonstrate when they contribute sponsorships, in-kind gifts, volunteer hours and attendance for the evening. We are extremely proud of the hard work and dedication shown by our CASA Volunteers and staff members in advocating for the children we serve in abuse and neglect cases. This event is a beautiful reminder that this is a county-wide mission, and Jefferson County shows up for their most vulnerable citizens! We look forward to welcoming guests and celebrating those efforts in April.”
Tickets are $40 and tables are $320 (seat 8) with larger sponsorship donation packages available. All auction items can be previewed on CASA’s fb page in the coming weeks. All net proceeds from the event will be used to support the mission of CASA of Jefferson County. Tickets and sponsorships can be purchased at www.childadvocatesjc.net
