Open sign-up; open mic. Everyone is invited to participate. Read your own work or that of a favorite poet. Readers are welcome to draw from our shelves. This month’s MC for Village Lights Poetry Nights is well-known Madison poet, Jill Kelly Koren. We are pleased to welcome a special guest poet, Romayne Rubinas Dorsey. Her collection of poetry, Then Gone, is published in a hand-stitched, woodblock-printed limited edition by Ledge Mule Press, a small indie press based in Bloomington, Indiana. Romayne is a Lecturer in the Creative Writing Program of the Department of English at Indiana University Bloomington.
