Join members of the Madison America's Best Communities team in hiking and lending a hand along Hatcher Hill this Saturday. We will pick up trash, sticks and branches, and work together on this project that we hope will be funded in April!
We ask the public to join us especially at 11:00AM, when we plan to film a short video to help promote our community's excitement and effort at the America's Best Communities summit in April!
Parking is available a short walk from the base of Hatcher Hill downtown at the City of Madison Street Department Garage at 1215 Walnut Street. The City is asking residents to avoid parking at the top of the hill in order to be respectful of neighbors and avoid traffic for residents in the Sunrise neighborhood.
Volunteers are asked to bring gloves, a couple garbage bags, and any small tools they might want or need. A limited amount will be available on-site.
In the case of inclement weather, this event will be held on March 12th, same time.
