Free Car Care Awareness Workshops
April is National Car Care Month - in celebration, we are hosting free car care workshops! These will be opportunities to teach drivers about the importance of routine maintenance.
Routine maintenance is the most cost effective way to take care of your vehicle and avoid more costly repairs down the road. Most people know how important it is to change the motor oil regularly. That is one aspect of routine maintenance that you may be very familiar with! Do you know, however, what the recommended mileage for your specific vehicle is? How about how often your owner's manual recommends you need to change your timing belt? Or how to check fluids and determine when they may need changed? Do you know how to tell if your tires are still in good shape? What does changing an air filter do for your vehicle?
We will answer any questions that you may have about routine maintenance schedules, and will even go over your owner's manual with you so you know if you are getting close to needing a routine repair. We will show you how to check your fluids and tire pressure, and share more car care tips.
Each session will be 45 minutes long, so there are 11 opportunities, over two different days, for you to come and learn more about vehicle maintenance.
Know any new drivers? This will be a perfect, hands on, learning opportunity for them as they begin driving. It will also be good for anyone else who is interested in taking better care of his car. And remember, it's totally free to you! So sign up a friend and your teenage driver so everyone can become more car care aware together.
