Advanced Manufacturing Summer Camp 2
Ivy Tech Community College is hosting a free, educational summer camp at its Madison campus to introduce students who will be in the 10th grade next year to career opportunities in the fields of advanced manufacturing.
Local area students who will be in the 10th grade during the 2017-18 school year are invited to attend the free camp. This camp will be held at Ivy Tech Madison, from noon to 5:00 pm each day, and lunch will be provided.
Students attending the free, three-day camps will have the following experiences:
- Explore career opportunities in the fields of advanced manufacturing
- Meet and interact with industry professionals who will mentor them
- Enjoy hands-on experiences through learning and interactive fun activities
- Tour local advanced manufacturing facilities
- Identify high school classes to help prepare them for careers while also earning college credit
- Participate in service-learning projects
